Happy Monday to all! Today's song of the day comes from north of the border duo, Wet Paint. James Gaudet and Dan Shanahan have been working together on music since 2012. This electro/funk tag team from Montreal has a great catalog of both original works and remixes including three EP's. For today I'd like to highlight one of my favorite remixes by them, Jhené Aiko's "Spotless Mind". Jhené Aiko's voice is so soothing and calm over the background horn section. I love how they play with her voice chopping it up. This track has an RnB, super chill type of feel to it. The music duo known as Gnarls Barkley (CeeLo Green and Danger Mouse) left their imprint in the music industry and continue to today. Although the pair is no longer together, the classical Rnb continues to travel though radio stations worldwide. Being the only single released off of the debut album St. Elsewhere, "Crazy" topped the charts in multiple countries and reached #2 on Billboards hot 100.
