Rage Against The Machine - "Bombtrack" LIVE - Song of the Day [12-30-14]

This is the opening song "Bombtrack" to the debut and self titled album Rage Against The Machine performed live. It's one of the best albums ever created on a number of levels. Zack de la Rocha is a brilliant political figure as well as being a masterful lead singer for the group. His words are powerful and intelligent, a lot can be learned listening closely to Rage Against The Machine lyrics. Their music is just perfect, and the band is so skilled they can nearly identically recreate the same sound as on the studio recordings when playing live. I was able to see them live in the late nineties and they sounded impeccable. Each band member is on an elite level and together they made a strong statement. The band was made up of Tim Commerford on bass guitar, Tom Morello on guitar, and drummer Brad Wilk. "Bombtrack" sets the tone for an incredible session of meticulous precision in rock music. You can stream the full catalog of Rage Against The Machine music on spotify.

TrollPhace feat. Harvey J - "Make It Bounce" - Song Of The Day - 12/29/2014

Your song of the day comes from hard hitter Los Angeles based producer TrollPhace. After recently releasing the 'Burial' remix with Skrillex, TrollPhace has started to gain traction. This banger of a track has an in your face intensity, ready to pump you up. TrollPhace also has done an excellent job of showcasing his sound design. While there are similarities in sound design with this track and his remix with Skrillex(particularly the drop), this track is reassuring that TrollPhace will be around for a while and doesn't need big names to create big tracks. The release is part of Eggnog Vol.1, OWSLA's holiday sampler showcasing all of the great talent on the label. Enjoy!!

Emalkay - "When I Look At You" - Song of the Day - 12/27/14

Going back a few years, today's song of the day brings us to the rise of dubstep. While most was coming straight out of the United Kingdom itself, word quickly got around and the trend soon turned into a worldwide outbreak of EDM music. Although many don't like looking at the facts, Dubstep took on a completely different form of electronic music and took things to a completely different level. Be sure to check out Emalkay on Soundcloud.

Touch Sensitive - Pizza Guy - Song Of The Day - 12/26/2014

Here's two words: Touch Sensitive. Here's another two words: Pizza Guy. This time of year is a time meant to be spent with friends, family, and loved ones, and nothing brings people happiness and togetherness quite like music does, especially like that of Touch Sensitive. The solo project of Michael DiFrancesco, Touch Sensitive brings us back to a time when some of us (myself included) were yet to be born into this world. His beats are produced with the technique of what is known as "Italo" short for "Italo disco," a genre originating in Italy spanning from the mid-1970s to the end of the 1980s. It brings us back to the funky and groovy disco scene, also recently referred to as "Nudisco."DiFrancesco has been making music for quite some time now, and Touch Sensitive is not a name unfamiliar, but with his recent EP released this year ("Pizza Guy," along with another great number, "Show Me") under the management of Future Classic, it is only proper of us to acknowledge his existence and ability to create such feel good music. If you get a chance to watch the music video for "Pizza Guy," you won't be disappointed: It's DiFrancesco driving around delivering pizza, but of course, to the doors of none other than the likes of Chet Faker and Flume, who also derive under the artistic management of the Australian-based label Future Classic. So during this memorable holiday season, whether you're staying in with family ordering pizza, or heading into the city for a night of dancing like it's 1983, playing this catchy tune on repeat will surely be fitting for a multitude of festive situations.

Savant Surprises Fans With "Invasion" [Free Download]

Tune after tune, Savant is slowly taking over! After just recently releasing his new album Zion, the dedicated artist surprised us with more music. He first released an "Invasion Teaser" that brought back old sounds from a track on Aleks's Soundcloud called "Unfinished Business". The track was loaded with heavy drops and definitely left you wanting more. With an unknown tracklist we were left to wonder, but it was worth the wait. There are currently 13 tracks released for free download and 3-7 more to come :D We were given an album for Christmas and now we invade the new year! Also be sure to get Zion on iTunes if you haven't already.

Parade of Lasers @ City Hall in Denver, Colorado (12-20-14) [Review]

Review By:
Justin D'Amico

Crowdsurf Concerts came through huge again with the 2nd annual Parade of Lasers. This year the show was sold out before the doors even opened. Once again Parade of Lasers was held at City Hall in downtown Denver, Colorado.

The line-up was changed at the last minute, but it turned out to be just as hype with Kayzo filling in for Tincup. Going into this show I was not all that familiar with many of the artists, but after hearing their live sets I became a fan of each of them.

PawS got it popping with a nice trap flavor, dropping that grimey bass and snare music. PawS represents Denver, a.k.a. the glitch-hop Mecca, rather well. PawS has played at Beta, The Church, and Vinyl showing off his skills all over town. Next up was Decadon, and he went all out mixing into trap, dubstep, breakbeat, and more. His set was a lot of fun and he represents the more versatile side of Denver. Decadon would debut new music at Parade of Lasers, with a single he calls "Bury The Ratchet."

Kayzo was next and he slayed with a hybrid set. He blended tracks from a number of different sub-genres of electronic music keeping everyone on their toes. LooKas was a new name to me, but he was rather impressive. I noticed when researching LooKas that he is often pictured with a cloud of smoke coming out of his mouth. A perfect fit for the mile high city, and city in the clouds. It was also during the LooKas' set that the lasers started to really get warmed up. Going from simple single color patterns into more elaborate combinations.

For the second annual Parade of Lasers it was crucial to keep an impeccable high standard for lasers. So no one other than Laser Hands would do, and that's who they got. Formerly touring with Flux Pavilion, and behind the scenes at hundreds of huge shows, he is one of the most impressive laser technicians out there. There is no one else who can so eloquently make the lasers dance to the music, while at the same time keeping it interesting with a steady stream of new cues and sequences. There was no pre-programming done for Parade of Lasers, everything was done live with careful timing and a superior knowledge of the craft. Kudos to Laser Hands for another breathtaking live laser show. You can see Laser Hands' next performance on New Years Eve at the Colorado Convention Center for Decadence.

Sound Remedy would close out the night with a monster set. He started off with a more mellow glitch-hop feel, but after a while he got naughty mixing into a lot of different styles including some Zomboy, and more rowdy music. Sound Remedy did a good job with keeping his set unpredictable, each drop was a mystery and often very different from the previous. That's the type of set I really enjoy, having a full hour of trap or glitch-hop can get rather foreseeable and redundant.

Next year don't slack on this special Crowdsurf Concert, get tickets early before they sell out! The Parade of Lasers is a one of a kind visual experience, and a place for top notch producers to show off their skills. City Hall is a killer venue where a couple thousand friends can get together for the annual face melting. Big thanks to everyone who made this show so beautiful, especially Au Hai Hau the mastermind behind the extravagant themed events at Crowdsurf Concerts. Up next for the company is the very popular Trapfest in March, check out the website for early bird tickets. I hope to see you all next year at the 3rd annual Parade of Lasers.

Moe. - "Together at Christmas" - Song of the Day - 12/24/14

Moe. formed at the University of Buffalo in the late 80's and has been turning heads ever since. In 2002 they gave us a stellar Christmas album, Seasons Greetings from moe. What better to get us into the holiday spirit than some tunes by one of our favorite bands? Not much. Have a great holiday, friends!

Outsidaz - "The Rah Rah" - Song of the Day - (12-23-14)

http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140426031608/lyricwiki/images/e/e0/Outsidaz_-_Night_Life.jpg I first heard of Outsidaz through early freestyles and collaborations with Eminem. There is a song featuring Eminem on Night Life called "Rush Ya Clique" that pounds with sick battle rhymes and humorous hate. The band is a huge group of ill rappers and producers including: Pacewon, D.U., Young Zee, Rah Digga, Axe, Az Izz, DJ Muhammed, Denzy, Loon One, DJ Spunk, S. Coop, Nawshis, and the late Slang Ton, Bskills and Yah Yah. You get a feel for the hard Newark, New Jersey streets listening to Outsidaz spit sick story raps. Both of the two Outsidaz albums are hype. You can stream their albums at these links Night Life and The Bricks.

Smiirk - "Warning" - Song Of The Day 12/22/2014 [Free Download]

Today's song of the day comes to us from another local up and comer from the great city of Chicago, and for all of the fam not from Chicago here's probably your first glimpse at one of the hottest rising talents in the Chicago EDM scene. While still in high school Smiirk has already had the opportunity to play at one of the premiere festivals in Chicago, NorthCoast Music Festival. On top of that he is already getting support from names like Zaxx and Van Dalen, just to name a few. Nevermind the back story lets get into the good stuff, the music. "Warning" starts off with great energy that leads into a beautiful, melodic synth line. As the the track builds up, someone over an intercom is telling you to return to where you came from or face the consequences. Not to worry, I've taken one for the team and decided to face the warning head on and I think you'll enjoy what happens if you do as well.

P Reign feat: Drake & Future - "DnF" (eSenTRIK Remix) - Song of the Day - 12/19/14

eSenTRIK reworks the recently top-charting hip hop track "DnF" (Drunk and Fuck) from P.Reign alongside the likes of Drake and Future. eSenTRIK is a NY-based DJ and producer, dishing out tunes featuring future bass, jersey club, and trap styles and sounds, best known for his mix "Love You Down," a rework of INOJ's 1997 R&B hit. This and most of his other mixes are nothing less than aids that enhance the bedroom vibe, so to speak. In this DnF rework, eSenTRIK pitch shifts and chops some of the vocals and throws in a few "wassup" and "hey" samples for that classic trap feel. The drums and bells mixed into the rework only add its groovy, sexy vibe. This song goes out to all the lucky ones who are getting drunk and fucking on this lovely Friday night. Cheers!

Frank Ocean - "Strawberry Swing" - Song of the Day - 12/18/14

Off of his 2011 debut mixtape Nostalgia, Ultra, the miraculous cover "Strawberry Swing" continues to flow perfectly. Frank Ocean seems to touch the ears of all listeners with each release. After his first mixtape, news spread quick of his being and his music spread even quicker. He ended up rereleasing the mixtape as an EP and dropped the hit song "Novacane" as a single. Later collaborating with artist like Tyler, The Creator, Jay-Z and Kayne West, the signature voice soon became more than ever. Like this song? Be sure to check out more from Frank Ocean on iTunes!

Gov't Mule - "Dark Side of the Mule" (Review)

Gov't Mule recently released their newest album, Dark Side of the Mule, which has been years-in-the-making. All the selections off this new LP were recorded live in Boston at The Orpheum Theatre on Halloween 2008. Including some of my favorite Pink Floyd selections like: "One of These Days," "Fearless," "Have a Cigar," and "Wish You Were Here," this album is surely not to disappoint the avid Pink Floyd fan. Mule maintains the feel the original track all while effortlessly infusing their well-known improv. style jams. The Mule is Kickin'. Once "Comfortably Numb" comes around, if you were impressed yet, this is the final stop on that negative train. They absolutely murder this song with shredding guitars and on point vocals. Overall this is a great effort I think most fans of Pink Floyd will appreciate, kudos to the guys of the band for this stellar performance. Streaming free through Spotify below.

7 Minutes Dead - "Sidewinder" - Song of the Day - (12/16/14)

This is a bomb track right off the bat from 7 Minutes Dead. The glitch yawns and killer beat please my ears, and especially when so brilliantly patterned. "Sidewinder" will take you on a journey into an electronic funk tunnel of sonic delight, bending and adapting into different dimensions. It comes from the self titled debut EP 7 Minutes Dead released on Monstercat in 2013. He has a bunch of awesome releases already, and a superb taste for crisp electronic sounds. Stay on the up and up with 7 Minutes Dead through his official website here.

Summer Camp Music Festival Reveals Their Phase 1 Lineup

Back again with another massive lineup, Summer Camp Music Festival has set the standards high. Providing sets from Moe, Umphrey's Mcgee, Steve Miller Band, Big Gigantic and many more, it's hard to imagine what phase 2 will bring! Can't wait to see what other good news is to come.

DEADEXIT - "Soundboy Killer" - Song Of The Day - 12-15-14

Today's "Song Of The Day" comes to us from across the pond via this heavy bass music duo known as DEADEXIT. "Soundboy Killer" is another one of those great hybrid Reggae/Dubstep tracks. Probably one of the most popular examples of this type of music is Skrillex-"We Make It Bun Dem" just to give you an idea of what to expect. "Soundboy Killer" is a total in your face(it might melt your face too) production. While it starts out as a great dance hall song that you might find yourself tapping your feet or bobbing your head to, it then builds up into a heavy monster of a track. This is definitely a hidden gem that can take any show/DJ set to the next level. Be on the lookout for more new music from DEADEXIT as they start to release new music. Also peep their soundcloud, for all of their tasty heard hitting tracks. Enjoy!!

Tristam - "My Friend"

This is a new one from Tristam perfect for a lazy Sunday lounge session. He brings a totally fresh style with this track, I might call it chill-step or something like that. "My Friend" also includes excellent vocals, possibly from Tristam himself as no vocalist is featured in the title. This is the most recent Monstercat release, they have a lot of talent at the Monstercat record label, in all facets of electronic music. Go check out Tristam and Monstercat for more awesome music.

K-iLL - "Funky Fresh" - Song of the Day - 12-14-14 [Free Download]

This song of the day is brought to you by a fresh new artist from the greater Chicago area. Kevin Moore, A.K.A K-iLL, mixes a combination of hip-hop, funk, and electro to create his unique and bass pounding instrumentals. The song featured for today is titled "Funky Fresh" and is loosely labeled as an interlude, which frankly does the song no justice. This track has a kick ass guitar riff that you will immediately become familiar with and gives it its funky feel. Accompanied by some appropriate bass lines and sampled vocals, "Funky Fresh" will soon be heard on repeat after you get a chance to download the full mixtape HERE. K-iLL is back in the lab creating new tracks since taking some time off just after recently dropping his first official mixtape titled "Beware of the Beats: Volume 1" at the end of October. You'll definitely want to follow K-iLL on his pages linked below and stay up to date with his newest productions. Rumor has it that he will soon be collaborating with another funky up-and-coming artist named Marshall McGee. I highly recommend giving this track a listen below as well as the rest of the mixtape.

Justice - "Planisphère" - Song of the Day - [12-13-14]

This song by Justice is more like a piece of classical music rather than just a song, it's 17+ minutes long and epic. Even though it doesn't involve a full orchestra honestly I would put musical compositions like "Planisphère" right up there with some of the work by greatest composers ever, like Vivaldi and Mozart. That's how much I love Justice and their amazing music. They are known for putting on incredible visual live performances as well, I have yet to see them live but if I get a chance I absolutely will be there. The band is made up of two brilliant musical minds: Gaspard Michel Andre Augé and Xavier de Rosnay both from France. They are into indie rock music as well as electronic, some of their music almost sounds like long lost Queen b-sides. If you want more about the band and upcoming tour dates follow them on facebook here. Also you can stream the majority of their library on the Official Justice Spotify.

20syl - "Complètement Fou (Yelle)" - Song of the Day - 12/12/14 [FREE DOWNLOAD]

20syl gives us his take on the French singer Yelle's summer single, "Complètement Fou" - which translates to "Completely Crazy." He shifts pitches and chops and screws the vocals for a much groovier, trippier experience. He also brilliantly bangs out some bells and whistles, enough to sound like you're playing the best game of Nintendo ever. However, I expect nothing less from 20syl, also a French artist, who's been producing beats since 1995, first kicking off in the group Hocus Pocus, created under his own vision. "Complètement Fou" is part of a 10-song EP "Remixs" you can download for free on his Soundcloud page: HERE. The EP includes other mixes of smash tunes from  the likes of Schoolboy Q, Kendrick Lamar, and even Ed Sheeran, which all reflect how this dude can whip up countless bangers and consistently make them into something completely crazy.

Light Blue Laboratory, Uncle Bob & Darko - Boston Local DJs Review

If you ever find yourself in the greater Boston area and are looking to get your groove on, the Wonder Bar in Allston never seems to fail. It has been host to countless producers and DJs, both popular and local. This past week, I had the pleasure of heading down that way and seeing a few of Beantown's finest local DJs do their thing. If you haven't already noticed, some of the best music is spun in underground settings. I am never disappointed with the new, delicious beats that are thrown down by these dudes who seriously know their stuff, and it is always nice for the crowd and the performer to have a shared appreciation of great music at one of these shows. This show in particular was put on by Beandream Productions, a Boston nightlife event planner, which established the monthly dance party known as Binary that the Wonder Bar hosts for us Boston boogiers.
Opening was a dude who went by Light Blue Laboratory. After the initial confusion in attempting to get his name correct (Blue Light Factory?"), I took a seat by the bar to get a better listen. At this point in the night, it was too early for a lot of people to be there, but there were still a few bobbing their heads and getting into his set. It was super chill and melodic, with a future, dreamlike flow and cloud rap influence. He impressively mixed in a nice heavy bass with some slow dub in and out of the set as well. Clams Casino's "I'm God" was one of the last songs he chose, so that right there was the cherry on top of a Light Blue cake.
Next was another popular Boston local Uncle Bob, who is definitely not your average uncle. As more people came through the door to join in on the Binary experience, Uncle Bob was just revving up. He began his set with bassline house, which was a refreshing surprise. But what got people going was his clean transition into trap, which just never fails to get old for me, if done right, which Uncle Bob certainly did. As I've said, the best music is found in the underground. You will rarely, and most likely never, be hearing "Love Sosa" at a local show. Uncle Bob did, however, screw around with my emotions (in the best way) by integrating such a diverse array of genres, (bassline house, electro house, trap, heavy dub, liquid dub) that never sounded forced or unnatural, which can be hard to come by and is pretty impressive. To sum up, Uncle Bob was the catalyst in transforming the Wonder Bar that night into a seriously wild party.
By the time Darko, the headliner, came on the 1's and 2's, the crowd was sweating and dancing with amazing and positive energy. And to out it bluntly, Darko was nastier and tighter than you're grandmother's vagina, integrating heavy bass, deep house, trap and future dub. He wrapped up the night beautifully heavy, having the crowd going absolutely crazy. Darko not only DJs but produces as well. You can check out his new deep house tune "Deep Dish" here, along with Uncle Bob's "Electric Blue Peggy Sue" mix.
These local guys are doing big things in small places, proving that Beantown knows good music and that the underground scene is still alive and kickin'.

Clavin Harris - Sweet Nothing (Diplo & Grandtheft Remix) - Song of the Day - 12/11/14

Sweeping through every radio station in the world, "Sweet Nothing" took over the charts of 2013. Hearing remix's of every genre, the song reached the stage of just about any electronic act. The famous Diplo and Grandtheft collaboration surfaced again with their massive trap remix. If you went to a festival in 2013, you heard this song at least twice and every single time is bangs just as hard. In their other collaborative work "Summer" and "Pretty With Her Eyes Low", they show their mastered skill in hip-hop music. Listen below and be sure to follow Diplo as well as Grandtheft on soundcloud for the newest music!

DOGFINGAZ Releases Debut Single "OZ" on Indigenous Records

DOGFINGAZ
The young talent out of Detroit has been on an upward slope for months and it's gradually getting steeper! This dark and spacey bass track shows an elegance of its own with its groovy ambient sounds. Am excellent sound combination that many don't see together provides a unique feel that any listener could easily pick up on. While taking on shows almost every night, this young producer works his way into the spotlight anyway he can. Recently signing with Indigenous Records, a strong future stands ahead and hopefully many more tunes. Be sure to catch one of DOGFINGAZ sets if you're ever around Detroit, It's worth it everytime!

Theatre of Delays - "Stories"

Bad Panda Records released a new selection called "Stories" by Theatre of Delays, a Berlin based producer. Eerie and cinematic, this one feels like it could be the new theme song to one of the old Halloween films. This gloomy instrumental piece is definitely worth a listen, give his soundcloud a look and I'm sure you'll find something you like.

Tycho announced a forthcoming deluxe version of their most recent endeavor, Awake, just a couple of days ago just before releasing an awesome remix to Spoon's track, "Inside Out." Now, he gave us a stellar remix of "Montana" by another San Francisco based musician, Christopher Willits - who just got finished supporting Tycho throughout their 'Awake World Tour.' The artwork incorporates the single covers from his 'Opening' album. The track will be one of four new remixes featured on the Awake (Deluxe Version) available digitally on Tuesday, December 16th - streaming free below.

Perpetual Groove - "Teakwood Betz" (Live 2013/04/05 - Atlanta) - Song of the Day - 12/10/14

Perpetual Groove, also known as PGroove, is a Savannah, GA based jam band that had been doing their things since 1997 until recently going on hiatus in 2013. The group, prior to the hiatus, had taken many forms, but their most recent lineup included Brock Butler (guitar, vocals), Adam Perry (bass), Matthew McDonald (keys, vocals), and Albert Suttle (drums). Although you likely won't be seeing these guys on any festival bills, they left us with a shit ton of awesome music that is all available for free download through archive.org. If these guys aren't in your wheelhouse yet, check them out and get back to us.

GRiZ - A Fine Way To Die Feat. Orlando Napier [Free Download]

GRiZ has been hinting at new music for a while now and does not disappoint with this funky new track that features vocals from singer-songwriter Orlando Napier. Between the extravagant use of horns, drums, guitar lines, and some killer vocals this track was hard in the works for a full year to finally perfect. Some GRiZ lovers may recognize this track as GRiZ began one of his live sets he performed on a morning music program in Santa Monica, California. You can check out that set HERE for a look at how he performs and gets down on the saxophone as he is famously known for. GRiZ has made tune this readily available for a free download HERE and I've also included the song below for your listening pleasure. GRiZ is building up the tension as he prepares for "GRiZmas" on December 20th, where he is scheduled to play a show in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan with Odesza, Will Sessions, and Gosh Pit. Celebrating these 12 days of "GRiZmas" includes new tracks, various activities, contests, and giveaways. You can bet I will be following it closely, so stay tuned for more updates. Until then, stay saxy and enjoy some new content from the G man.

The Sydney based producer has vowed to release A-Beat-A-Day as part of the holiday season with Christmas coming up. Day number 9 comes with a remix of one of Exmag's more known songs titled "Tilt Mode". You can catch each song as it is released on Soundcloud HERE. Unfortunately it doesn't seem that any of these songs are available for download. However, Nehzuil's facebook will point you in the direction of some great free downloads of other remixes he has come out with in the past.

New Young Pony Club - "Ice Cream" - Song of the Day [12/9/14]

This is one of those few poppy bands that is too good to hate on. "Ice Cream" was the first New Young Pony Club song I ever heard, but it wasn't until later that I realized how cool a lot of their songs are. Tracks like "Get Lucky" and "The Bomb" convey a similar punk 80's new wave style that perfectly appeals to my nostalgia sweet tooth. All of the New Young Pony Club official videos are completely awesome utilizing throwback visual effects, with clever cuts and wipes. Go check out the Official NYPC Website for tour dates, music, and merch from the band.

mikeyDUBS feat. DANWAK - "Fandango" - Song Of The Day - 12/8/2014 [Free Download]

With electronic music on a constant rise, it's about time other artists start taking advantage of this within their genre of music. Today's song of the day comes from an up and coming rapper from Chicago, mikeyDUBS alongside his partner in crime DANWAK(formerly known as Jordan Harrison Spiwak). This song is the first single off of his most recent mix tape, Normal. For those who dabble in the realm of "EDM", much like myself, then you might notice that catchy sample playing in the background. It is also what instantly draws my attention towards this song. For those unaware, the sample comes from "Booyah" by Showtek and is one of the hottest electronic music songs that can still be heard across festivals today. On top of that "Fandango" has one of the catchiest hooks that will have you singing along after you hear it the first time. While there's only so much I can say to give this song of the day justice, I would like to direct you to the video below.
And if you liked that you can even check out a blooper video here. Be sure to follow mikeyDUBS on soundcloud for his newest releases, FOR FREE.

BARENHVRD's New Original "Senshi" Out Now On Otodayo Records

Back again with another groundbreaking track, the new path is being paved. Releasing some of the best hybrid music in the game, he continuously pushes his music through your speakers! Recently signing with OTODAYO Records, new opportunities present great influence for some amazing new sounds from the young artist. A newer label that holds a expansive variety of electronic music, from artists reaching for the top! Owned and founded by Tha Trickaz, the label gives these artists leaders with veteran experience. As this is only his second release with them, more music is a must. I was able to ask a few questions about the new release and got some interesting answers!

  • Is there a story behind Senshi?

"Senshi (Meaning 'Warrior') was created a few months ago when I was thinking of quitting music production and focusing on something else in the music industry. But the urge to come up with something powerful and full of determination was stronger, that's why I worked really hard for two weeks on this, and produced Senshi. The intro of this track could be a film score. You can easily imagine one warrior walking in slomo, ready to fight.
This is my way to say to me : 'Don't Stop'."

  • Any upcoming collaborations?

"I am asked a lot to do collabs, but the only collab I did was with Vanilla Trap and I am currently not particularly open to collabs as I am first trying to create and fee my own style."

  • How are you liking OTODAYO Records?

"OTODAYO is one of the greatest thing that happened to me in 2014. It helped me a lot and I owe them so much. A lot more are coming for 2015 on the label. I can't say more, but this is going to be awesome. Really excited about this, love the OTO Army!"

  • What’s next?

"I will still be dropping tunes in the near future, and I also will be preforming a lot more. I have a show with Xilent in February, and another gig powered by Eat Me Records & Arnicalicious"

The anticipation grows daily for new tracks and hearing that only gets me more excited. With a promising future ahead, all we can do is give our support! Check out BARENHVRD on Facebook, Twitter as well as his official website!

Tipper - "Dreamsters" - Song of the Day - 12/7/14

Dave Tipper is a genius. Today's song of the day is off his 2014 release, Forward Escape. If this album isn't on the radar yet, you really need to reconsider what you're doing with your life. Arguably one of the best electronic albums of the year, this effort is set to impress through it's entirety. Pick it up from his bandcamp page and support his vision. :)

Gemini - "Graduation" - Song of the Day - 12/6/14

Rewinding us back to the better days of dubstep, Today's song of the day, "Gemini", demonstrates a subtle uplifting feel to reminisce upon. Being released on UKF Dubstep, the song's rise to fame was rather quick. The intensity of the rising piano chords steeply build while bringing in the spacey vocals. Dropping us into a world of euphoria, we casually groove to the powerful bass synths we are presented. With not very much recent activity from the aspiring artist, the possibilities of what is to come are endless. Be sure to check out the official artist page for up to date info on new music!
