The combination of K. Flays voice and Louis The Child is one you'll want to hear. Möwe - Birds Flying High - Song Of The Day - (8/13/15)

Mowe has undoubtedly mastered the art of chill electronic and feel good house. At first when I herd one of their mixes I was positive they jumped on the tropical house movement, but during my research I found out that Mowe falls under deep house. Their unique sound is close to something of Kygo. Mowe translates to seagull in English, Which might have a connection to their remix “Birds Flying High”. If you haven't heard already, They put a beautiful and signature touch on the old hit tune “Feeling Good” by Nina Simone and hit it spot on. They have an amazing feel-good sound that has attracted an immense amount of new followers in the past few months which showed at Shambahala in Canada this past weekend. Be sure to follow them on Soundcloud & Facebook for new music and upcoming events!

PANTyRAiD - "Get the Money" - Song of the Day - [8/3/15]

This is a nice chill beat from the duo PANTyRAiD. The band is made up of two guys who are each big names on their own; MartyParty and Ooah. MartyParty represents Miami with his purple beats of hip-hop flavor. Ooah is a solo producer as well as a member of the hugely popular group The Glitch Mob. PANTyRAiD is their kick ass side project where they blend styles and come up with new ways to kick it. Definitely some fire music from these two.

Capital Cities - "Safe And Sound" - Song of the Day - [7/28/15]

This is a beautiful song from Capital Cities called "Safe And Sound." For a while I thought this was an Empire of the Sun song, and it is really similar to their style. This is the official video from the Capital Cities vevo. It's a full performance like one you would see for a musical on a Broadway stage. Mellow out and keep it chill today, even though it's going to be a hot summer day.

Illenium - "So Wrong" - Song of the Day - [7/10/15]

Today we show some love to another awesome artist out of Denver. Here we have a hybrid song from Nicholas Miller but you might call him Illenium. This is "So Wrong" an excellent single released just under a year ago. It's hard to categorize a song like this, it's part chill, part trap, and part future music. Illenium has definitely caught the attention of the Colorado crowd and he is expanding his fan base rapidly in all directions. You will see when checking into his library further that he has killer remixes of Kill Paris and Odesza songs; and he has amazing collaborations with another Denver producer Said The Sky. You can listen to more from Illenium on spotify here.

ODESZA - "Koto" - Song of the Day - [6/19/15]

ODESZA has a number of astounding songs that take you on a journey through music and space. They have a way of keeping it so chill that you fall into a daydream. Here is "Koto" a perfect track for a mental road-trip into the subconscious mind. This is from the album In Return released last September. ODESZA is amazing so definitely peep more from them on their official soundcloud page here.

Exmag and BRANX Ft. Kianu - "Map Of Foreign Lands" - Song Of The Day - 5/4/2015

Happy Monday everyone! Today's Song Of The Day combines the sounds of chill deep house and funk all into one. Kept at the tempo of a house track, "Map Of Foreign Lands" takes the best of both worlds. The floaty Exmag synthesizer sounds along with their signature guitar give a groovy feel to go with the low frequency deep house sounds. Branx is an up and coming artist who has had the opportunity of working with Exmag on a few occasions also. Together they bring a soulful relaxed vibe to their music. I love that this track has someone rapping in it. I always tend to gravitate more towards house tracks with some cool rap vocals or something a little bit harder then normal in them. Be sure to follow Exmag and Branx to keep up with all of their latest work. Enjoy!

Champagne Drip - "Love In" - Song Of The Day - 4/30/15

Mad Decent artist Champagne Drip is a bit unknown to most, but the tunes being put out are unbelievable. The genre labeled as "Future" seems to be taking over. Many say Flume has a large part with originating the genre and turning it into something worldwide, but I believe it's a very shared contribution from all of the amazing artists pushing out this feely genre. Vibe out to "Love In" below!

Muzzy Bearr (Ft. Exmag, BRANX, & Benny Bloom) - "Radio Glider" - Song of the Day - 4/19/15

Muzzy Bearr (formerly Muzzy), just released his debut album titled Vintage Sutra with some great retro style funk. "Radio Glider" is a prime example of his sound as he jams with Exmag, BRANX, and Benny Bloom who plays the trumpet for Lettuce. You can stream the whole album on Muzzy Bearr's soundcloud page here.

Kill Paris Releases "Galaxies Between Us" LP [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Corey Baker, AKA Kill Paris has been hyping up his newest album titled Galaxies Between Us. This album is super chill with some really great melodies and that future funk style Kill Paris is always putting out. Baker only released 2 tracks from the album before its release date which is preferred. A lot of artists release half their album before it even officially comes out which ruins the surprise effect. Give this album a run through and check out Kill Paris' other groovy stuff if you haven't had a chance. Almost all of it is FREE for download.

Blackmill - "Spirit of Life" - Song of the Day [4/7/15]

This is a beautiful song by Blackmill called "Spirit of Life" from his album Miracle. Robert Card is the sole member of Blackmill and he has been into music his whole life. He is an excellent musician and also a skilled singer as well. There are so many melodies intertwined in this track for a very full sound. Just recently Blackmill released a new single called "Child" and he also does vocals for the song too. The laid-back grooves are why I like his music so much, he calls it Melodic Dubstep a perfect description for the Blackmill style.

The Whitest Boy Alive - "Burning" - Song of the Day (4/3/15)

Super chill and very smooth, it's The Whitest Boy Alive and their hit song "Burning." This comes from a killer album entitled Dreams released back in 2006. As of June last year The Whitest Boy Alive is no longer together, but the music they made will hold up for a while. The band was made up of - Erlend Øye on guitar and vocals, Marcin Öz on bass, Sebastian Maschat on drums, and Daniel Nentwig played Rhodes piano and Crumar synthesizer. Definitely one of the coolest jam bands of recent years. You can stream The Whitest Boy Alive's full catalog on spotify here.

Unlike Pluto & KickRaux - Palace [Free Download]

The surprise collaboration between Unlike Pluto and KickRaux was of instant interest for me. With all of the hype behind the most recent remix of Diplo's "Revolution" by Unlike Pluto, there was no doubt that new material from the rising artist would impress. Released on the label known as Mad Decent, "Palace" gives a look into the future of bass music. Although the collaboration was unexpected and somewhat unfit, the sound they put out together dominates. KickRaux, Known for his large involvement in the hip hop scene, has been putting out tracks since before you even knew. Slowly rising to fame, the talented vetaran shows his experience with every new release. "Palace" is available for free download on Mad Decent's soundcloud!

Gramatik Mix

Slovenian-born producer Denis Jasarevic, better known by his stage name Gramatik, recently did an interview with Thump. Harnessing the idea that all music should be made free to download, Gramaik has almost revolutionized the way music is obtained. As he puts it perfectly himself "freeing music by making music free". This has resonated throughout much of the music scene as many big name artists have followed suit making their music accessible for free downloads through various websites and torrent browsers. Along with the interview, Gramatik has put together a nice 50-minute mix of some super chill and funky tracks. You can find the interview here along with the track list, but I've included the mix below for your enjoyment.

Hotmoon - "What If" (Premiere)

The young up and comer known as Hotmoon has began his rise and from the looks of it, there may be no end. Coming out of the suburbs of Michigan, the distinguished sound sucks you in and doesn't seem to let go. Expressing a very good look on Future music, the spacey synths develop an uplifting aspect to the track. With the ambient drum and bass, it brings out the surprise factor. The slow progression greatly builds a pool of anticipation that engulfs you at its end.

Enjoy this track from Hotmoon? There is much more coming and it's only getting better! Head over to the following pages for new music and updates:

Caribou - "Found Out" - Song of the Day - [1-17-15]

Caribou is an awesome band with a mellow futuristic style, a total outlier on a musical box and whisker chart. "Found Out" is from their masterpiece album called Swim. The band is a four man group when preforming live with producer Daniel Snaith, and band members Ryan Smith, Brad Weber, and John Schmersal. The music is so advanced from your typical band, they include a plethora of different elements to create their mystical sound. Go check out the Official Caribou Website to keep up with the latest news on the band. And have a chill Saturday.

Oisima - Everything About Her (Ta-ku Remix) - Song of the Day - 1/16/2014

This song doe! Ta-ku flips the switch on the original "Everything About Her" produced by Oisima, with lyrics by Anabel Weston, and creates a whole new beat entirely which plays off the song's initial beauty and proceeds to skyrocket into a seriously huge and original tune. Ta-ku achieves this with not only chopping and screwing the vocals and adding a fluid mixture of bells and drums to enhance the sound throughout, but he also surprises us completely at 1:30 with a brilliant drop that includes insane high-pitched violin samples that drive the song into a reggae inspired feel on top of its beautiful and melodic foundation. It seems as though Australia really knows what's up these days, especially since the Future Classic Label originated there - a label managed by Ta-ku and many other swiftly rising producers such as Flume and Touch Sensitive. Even Oisima, the producer of the original track, conceives his lovely songs whilst residing Down Undah. Regardless, this song is the soundtrack to the pregame, the party, the afterparty, the drunken sex and/or drunken munchies that transpire on these beautiful Friday nights. Enjoy!
