Electric Guest - "The Bait" (Shlohmo Remix) - [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Up and coming abstract hip-hop artst, Shlohmo, is starting to make a name for himself in the electronic music scene. Released only an hour ago, his remix of Electric Guest’s The Bait takes an interesting turn as it is slightly different from his other remixes of popular RnB songs such as Aaliyah’s Enough Said or Jeremih’s Fuck U All The Time. This remix is much brighter and more uplifting. Shlohmo incorporates elements of his experimental, ambient style delineated in his Bad Vibes LP with an RnB vibe similar to that of The Weeknd’s. He starts the song with a classic Roland-808 bass line with a little bit of fuzz. He then throws in Electric Guest’s vocals and few floating synth chord progressions to tune the song with a very sensual, RnB sound.
