Effortlessly incorporating his instrumental zeal for the live saxophone over funky rhythms and jazzy melodic beats, Grant Kwiecinski (aka
GRiZ) prepares to release his sophomore album,Rebel Era and a national headlining tour this fall at a mere 23 years old. Although GRiZ cites his remix of
Aerosmith’s “
Dream On” as his big break, it wasn’t until his first album,
Mad Liberation was unleashed as a
free download on September 14, 2012 that his career truly skyrocketed. After DJ'ing parties in a small college town (with his own music, no less), the artist’s life drastically changed in less than a year’s time. Soon the young and passionate musician was receiving
massive support from Pretty Lights,
opening up for Bassnectar on his fall tour, and
playing alongside Big Gigantic on their Uprising Tour. His forthcoming album,
Rebel Era features the first single, "Gettin' Live" (
LISTEN HERE), which hit over 400,000 plays on SoundCloud already.
DADA LIFE has one goal: to make the audience jump up and down. Since they stormed onto the scene in 2006, they have accomplished their goal. More recently, in 2012 they released the LP
The Rules of Dada, which hit
#1 on the iTunes Dance Charts. This past March, Dada Life jokingly claimed sovereignty for their new nation, "Dada Land." The online response was so enormous that their home country, Sweden, temporarily revoked their passports while looking into the claims. These were returned, and the group continued their quest throughout the summer playing the biggest festivals in the country. They're set to debut the "Dada Land Compound" in Chicago, which has previously hit New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

Los Angeles-born DJ/Producer Clockwork is no stranger to the world of electronic music. The young producer was one of the many 18 year olds circulating the dance music blogospehere with various bootleg remixes. But in 2011, armed with support and guidance from fellow young guns
Felix Cartal and AutoErotique, Clockwork emerged from the throng of bedroom producers. His single “
Squad Up” quickly caught the attention of
internationally renowned DJ, and Dim Mak chief, Steve Aoki. Aoki signed Clockwork immediately, making him the
youngest artist ever signed to Dim Mak’s prolific roster. Since the signing, Clockwork has officially remixed work for artists across the dance music spectrum, from
Steve Aoki to Dimitri Vegas. Clockwork’s distinctive
bass-heavy, big room sound has helped him gain support from the likes of
Tiesto, Steve Angello, Laidback Luke, and everyone in between.
Kill Paris began his journey into music composition at age 16 learning how to play the guitar, which soulfully reflects in his
Future Funk style and bass guitar riffs in his music today. While juggling his touring career, Kill Paris has managed to release a
9 track EP on Skrillex’s record label, Owsla, and individually release several other
official remixes for artists such as Nelly Furtado, No Doubt, and more. His most recent release, a remix of
Rudimental’s “Feel the Love,” charted
#1 on Beatport’s Top 100 GlitchHop tracks.
If the first thing you know about
Craze is that he’s the
only solo DJ to win the DMC World Championships 3 times over, prepare to get yourself. His family fled Nicaragua for the US when he was 3 in the midst of a civil war, suffered through Hurricane Andrew in ’92, the US’s costliest hurricane at the time, and was a total nerd through his teenage years. But while others would chalk this up to a lifetime of hurt, Craze let it fuel his passion. Instead of giving up, he took over the DMC’s when he was just 20. Two more DMC wins later,
Time Magazine named him “America’s Best DJ.” He went on to rack up more than
8.5 million views on his Traktor YouTube videos alone, and Kanye West took him on tour as his own personal DJ. As if that wasn’t enough, he started
Slow Roast Records with Kill The Noise, an imprint of the infamous
Fool’s Gold Records (A-Trak, Kid Cudi, Danny Brown).
Born and raised in the
South Bay area of Los Angeles,
TOKiMONSTA (Jennifer Lee) was an unfocused pupil of classical piano. However, she has come to use this background to create vast textural soundscapes by utilizing live instruments, percussion, digital manipulation, and dusty vinyl. Through the creation of beats, she is able to fuse vintage sounds with progressive styles into something unique.
