Galactic is a New Orleans funk rock band that had me instantly hooked. Horns, keys, guitar and a soul that comes alive on stage. My first Galactic show may have set the bar a little too high. At last year's Jazz Fest, just hours after this was filmed, Galactic took the state of NOLA's infamous Tipatina's at 3:00am. They played for nearly 3 hours and we stumbled out as the sun came up... Life altering.
