Only a few hours ago, Cough Drop released his new tune Reason To Hate Me. With this song, he fuses elements of hip-hop and dubstep, effectively creating a tone that is very glitchy but also percussion heavy. Mr. Dubblup's lyrics seem to float perfectly over the bass-heavy beat.With a steady grimey beat, wet, fuzzy synth lines, layered with a spacey ambient melody, this tune effectively demonstrates Cough Drop's versatile production ability.
I definitely recommend checking out his other songs in order to get a feel for a very different spin on electro hip-hop.
