Claire Boucher, better known by the stage name Grimes, hails from Vancouver, British Columbia. Since releasing her first album in 2010, her music has continuously gained popularity around the world. Using an atypical combination of vocal elements as well as a wide array of  musical influences, "Oblivion" maintains a eerie feeling that masterfully interwined with a more poppy beat.
